Meet Our Newest Rookie Master and Her Coach, Dave Conte 

Denise Harcourt is just one of our recent Beginner Bridge graduates and a member of the Tuesday afternoon Supervised Duplicate.  As are they all, Denise is keen and working hard to move along in the game.  Thank you to Dave Conte and Anna Kennedy who have offered their support to the group of beginners.   The Supervised Groups, Tuesday afternoon and evening, are taking the next step by joining the Thursday Afternoon 0 - 20 Supervised Game.   Please help them feel welcome!

The Aurora Bridge Club is planning on producing a promotional video for the club, with words of wisdom/encouragement from its players on why the club is the place to learn and play bridge.  If you have something you would like to voice about the club, please let us know.  

For example:  

• Why do you play bridge? 
• Why do you play at the Aurora Bridge Club? 
• What are the benefits of playing in a duplicate club? 
• Have you taken lessons here and if so when and why? 
• If you have joined in the Supervised Play how has it changed your game? 
• Is the club friendly?  
• Recount a funny episode. 

We are reaching out to you for help.  Please do not hesitate to jot things down and send them along.

Please park your car either on the south side fence where parking spots are marked by yellow tape, west of the garbage box, or, along the north side fence, away from the main building. Otherwise, park on any of the side streets where you are allowed to park. 

The Aurora Bridge Club is part of a large group of bridge clubs in North America offering the same bridge hands at the same time to all players at these clubs.  This means:

•  Our players' results will be compared with results from over 1000 clubs in North America playing pre-dealt hands from the Common Game
•  Players who have their email addresses registered with ACBL will receive results
•  Hand analyses by various pros are provided
•  Personal Play Analytics - players will have access to personal play analytics on their personal page which includes declarer play vs dummy play statistics
